Non-Contact Laser/Infrared Digital Thermometer

This is a hand held instrument that can be put to an extremely diverse number of uses. You will be surprised just how many uses you will find for it and you will wonder how you ever managed without one!

It will measure the temperature of anything within its operating range simply by being pointed at the object with or without the aid of the red laser and pressing the trigger. For bodybuilders and athletes it can be used to measure skin/outer body temperature and other surface temperatures within a training environment but it can also be equally useful in the home or work environment to measure things as diverse as oven temperature or freezer temperature, again simply by pointing the laser at the designated surface and pressing the trigger without having to be potentially dangerously close to such extreme temperatures. An instant LED readout is shown which will hold steady as soon as the trigger is released and can be switched from Centigrade to Fahrenheit as desired. The LED readout backlight option ensures you can still read the output, even in very low ambient light. The laser pointer can be switched off if preferred, although its power output is harmlessly low* and it greatly aids accurate aiming for optimum temperature data observations.

This instrument can also prove invaluable for detecting thermal leakage - better known as a draught! By aiming it at a number of points in the vicinity of where a draught is suspected, fluctuations in temperature readings can show the most susceptible areas because the air temperature of the incoming draught will almost invariably be lower than the internal ambient temperature where measurements are being taken.

For battery saving the unit has an auto power off function. When you have completed your measurements it will switch itself off automatically after a very short period of inactivity.
